A recent poll reveals that approximately two-thirds of California voters believe that Senator Dianne Feinstein is no longer fit for office. The survey highlights a significant lack of confidence in Feinstein's ability to effectively carry out her duties as a senator, indicating a potential shift in public sentiment towards her continued tenure.

The findings of the poll demonstrate a widespread perception among California voters that Feinstein is no longer equipped to fulfill her role as a senator. This sentiment may stem from concerns regarding her age and declining health, as Feinstein is one of the oldest members of the Senate, currently in her late 80s. The results suggest a growing desire for new leadership and the need for fresh perspectives in representing the state's interests in the Senate. This poll underscores the evolving dynamics of California politics and raises questions about Feinstein's future in office.

Two-thirds of California voters say Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., is no longer fit to serve in her role, according to a Thursday poll.

The poll, conducted by UC Berkeley's Institute of Governmental Studies, found that 67% of California registered voters believe that Feinstein's latest illness has rendered her unfit for office. That opinion does not universally translate into support for her resignation, however, with only 42% saying she should step down.

Another 27% stated that Feinstein should continue to serve in the Senate until the end of her term, while 31% said they were undecided.
