California has announced a plan to add an income based surcharge to everyone’s electric bill. If you are connected to the grid, you can expect to pay an additional fee of $30 to $130 EACH MONTH depending on your income…which of course means the power company will need access to your tax data. Loss of both money AND privacy. Get out of California if you’re a conservative!
