Mexico - a large fruit centerpiece on the New Year's table. At midnight, each person eats 12 grapes to welcome the twelve months of the New Year in.
Switzerland - Godparents traditionally insert a coin into a Zupfe (milk bread loaf) and give to their God children..
Brazil - eating pomegranates ! the many seeds symbolize wealth for the future.
Hungarians - eat roast pig, putting an apple in it's mouth and a 4 leaf clover in it's snout.
