Probably our favorite unit study we did on our property was Lewis and Clark ! Between 5 children and myself we did pretty well with the characters. We used the trails for the "expedition" and ended up at the pond (Pacific Ocean). Along the way there were Indians hiding in the woods.....learned a little more of the forest animals they may have seen and experienced. It was a lot of fun and the children seemed to enjoy it
