We move the sheep every three days or so to prevent parasite infection (we drastically reduce the need for dewormer medications) during the warm weather and I have opted to do the same during the winter. Not only do we reduce parasite loads, but we also have a more even distribution of manure. Sheep recycle approximately 85% of the nutrients from the food they consume and so we can aid in fertilizing the soil naturally with this management strategy.
I know most people post about politics on TPN, but a change in reading or viewing is always nice 😎
